WHAT TO EXPECT
This year there will be a guided tour through the woods. You will encounter frightening themed areas, super scary actors and state of the art special effects along the tour. You will be guided by a tour leader who will hopefully be able to protect you from the horrors hiding in the darkness. Group sizes are kept to a maximum of 15 children to ensure you get the most out of your tour.
The event is held at Avon Heath Country Park, Dorset. More details can be found HERE. You can use postcode BH24 2DH.
Car parking is charged at just £1.50 Per Hour. There is an automated barrier that will allow you access, pay stations are conveniently placed near the event. If you have a yearly parking pass for Avon Heath Country Park parking at this event is included in your pass.
HOW DO I BOOK?
Please call our team on 01425 478082 to book. We can take payment over the phone securely and confirm your booking right away. You can also book in person at Avon Valley Country park during opening hours and one of our team will be happy to help. This event books up quickly so early booking is advised.
WHAT AGE IS CHILD / ADULT TICKET?
5 - 17 Year olds are classed as a child ticket. Those who are 18 Years old or over are classed as adult tickets.
WHAT AGE IS THE EVENT SUITABLE FOR?
We have less scary tours available for children aged 5 and up. These tours are run at 16:00, 16:20, 16:40 & 17:00. The remaining tours are suitable for ages 8 and up apart from the final 2 tours at 20:40 & 21.00 which is strictly an adults (18 Yrs+) only tour.
WHAT TIME DO I NEED TO ARRIVE?
You need to be at the tour start area at least 10 mins before your allocated start time. If you miss your allocated time slot we can not guarantee availability on another tour and no refund will be given.
HOW LONG DOES THE EVENT LAST?
Each walking tour will last approx 30 - 45 Mins. There are plenty of other activities to take part in while you are visiting so be sure to leave plenty of time to enjoy these too.
ARE THERE TOILETS ON SITE?
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME?
We advise you have sensible walking shoes or welly boots as some of the ground is rough and may also be wet, Suitable clothing for outdoor activities is also a good idea. Waterproofs if its raining. You are welcome to bring a torch with you if you wish, some of the tour is very dark.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
The event will go ahead in rain. If it is raining we strongly advise waterproof coats and suitable waterproof footwear. The event will only be canceled if there is thunder & lightning or very high winds.
CAN I BRING A DOG?
Due to the nature of the event we can not allow dogs to the event.
